This Italian pottery is made from galestro clay, which is exceptionally strong and stiff, so each new pot must be worked by hand from raw clay into an original creation. Francesco’s method yields pottery which unites great durability with true artistic beauty. Impruneta can also be created with grey, blue or charcoal clay, lending more options for beauty and elegance, while retaining the unglazed authenticity of terra cotta.
